Recognizing that every child is unique, we develop custom learning plans that align with each child’s strengths, challenges, and goals. Our program begins with a thorough assessment of your child’s academic abilities, as well as their overall developmental strengths and challenges. This comprehensive evaluation allows us to create a personalized learning plan that targets their specific strengths and needs, ensuring that they receive the tailored goals, cohorts, and supports necessary for their optimal growth. 

These plans incorporate various evidence based teaching strategies designed to leverage their intelligence while addressing the barriers created by their attention difficulties and learning disabilities. This process ensures that each child can access the curriculum in a way that works best for them and their brain type.

Designed by an occupational therapist and developmental specialist we recognize that many of our children have significant developmental milestones that have been missed and need to be achieved in order for them to reach their highest potential. Our program goes beyond academics to focus on enhancing key sensory, motor, and cognitive foundations that are essential for optimizing brain growth and future development. By strengthening these core areas and targeting areas of weakness, we maximize your child's potential by building strong foundations in their brain that are required for lifelong learning and success. We use evidence based curriculums created for specific learning disabilities.

We recognize that children who have learning differences learn some academics differently. We believe that like their peers they should have equal access to programs that serve their brain type. We also recognize that kids' with extraordinary minds don’t fit in boxes. At Beyond we use gold standard evidence based curriculums to meet individual learning needs. We provide access to curriculum designed for their brain type, for all of their academic time, not just the few hours when they are receiving tutoring or treatment. We individualize these programs as well,  combining recommended curriculums and evidence based strategies to specifically compliment your child’s learning style.

Our approach emphasizes building understanding in both children and parents about how their child’s brain functions, enabling them to understand and optimize their strengths and support areas of challenge. To optimize brain function and performance, we have created an environment that combines thoughtful classroom design with carefully tailored learning challenges that stimulate brain growth. This ensures that every child can thrive and reach their full potential in all aspects of their development.

Pills don’t build skills.

Research shows that when children are properly diagnosed, medication can be supportive. From the research we also know that pills don’t build skills and the best interventions for children include treatments that target and build the  skills they need to manage their brain, learning, behavior, and interpersonal relationships.  At Beyond we accept children who receive and don’t receive medication to treat their developmental needs.
