MOTOR SKILLS

Gross motor skills are the ability to move, stabilize and control large muscles of the body for functional use. Gross motor skills include strength, agility, postural control, balance, bilateral coordination, eye-hand, eye-foot, body awareness, and praxis or motor planning skills.

Fine motor skills are the ability to move and control small muscles of the body usually the hand. They include motor precision, integration, coordination and dexterity.

Bilateral Coordination

Bilateral coordination is the ability to use both sides of the body at the same time in a controlled and organized manner.
