About

About Us

Two Fish Therapy, LLC is a school and community based therapy and educational tutoring company designed to serve schools of children, Pre-K to 12th grade, in Pinellas County.

Our Mission is to partner with kids, parents, schools, and teachers to create sustainable change for everyone.

Why Two Fish Therapy?

All of our educational specialists and therapists are highly trained professionals who believe that the sky is the limit when it comes to your child’s potential. We work with you and your child’s school in order to make substantial progress towards your goals.

Our goal is to use our skills and knowledge about your child to problem-solve and enable your child to meet their full potential at school.

Children who struggle in school are at higher risk for low self-esteem, social isolation, anxiety, academic failure, depression, decreased physical fitness and obesity.

Our objective is to enable participation and success at school by helping your child to become an engaged, self-motivated learner who has great self-esteem and enjoys taking on new challenges

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?

DYNAMIC ASSESSMENT AND TREATMENT

We believe that the best way to provide services involves a dynamic approach including classroom observation, in depth assessment, direct therapy, teacher education, team consultation and communication with parents.

COLLABORATION AND CONSULTATION

We recognize that kids, parents, teachers and administrators are all important in ensuring a child’s success in school.

EVIDENCE-BASED

Our assessments and treatment programs are based the current research in our field that demonstrates effective therapy.

SCHOOL PARTICIPATION AND SUCCESS

Our occupational therapists work with children who are having difficulty participating in daily occupations at school. Examples of school-based occupations include:

  • school-work- successful participation in academics, classroom roles and routines
  • self-care- managing clothes and school supplies, using the bathroom and eating lunch and snack
  • play and leisure- recess, accessing playground equipment, specials, playing in a group and one on one with a friend
